Eternal Flame: A special feature of this temple is a perpetual fire that burns in front of it. The flame is believed to have been kindled during the divine marriage of Shiva and Parvati and has continued to burn ever since. As a result, the temple is also known as the Akhand Dhuni temple.
The temple courtyard is the source of a water stream that fills three sacred bathing ponds (kunds) nearby. Etymology: The name “Triyuginarayan” is derived from three words: “tri” (meaning three), “yugi” (denoting a period of time or Yuga), and “Narayan” (another name for Vishnu). Pilgrims have been offering wood to the fire in the havana-kund (fireplace) since the three Yugas, hence the name “Triyuginarayan.” According to mythology, Shiva proposed to Parvati at Guptakashi before their marriage in the small Triyuginarayan village. The celestial wedding took place during the Satya Yuga and was witnessed by all the sages of that time. Vishnu formalized the wedding, acting as Parvati’s brother, while Brahma served as the priest. Gauri Kund: Pilgrims visiting Triyuginarayan Temple also visit Gauri Kund, dedicated to Parvati. Gauri Kund serves as the base camp for the trek to Kedarnath Temple. Drive from syana chatti to janki chatti trek to Yamuna Darshan and return back visit kharsali abode of maa yamuna and return back to syanachatti.

Day 3 :

Syanachatti to Gangotri

Drive from Syanachatti to Gangotri,enroute visit Gangnani and Mukhba village and night halt at Gangotri.

Day 4 :

By Road: Badrinath and Gangotri are directly reachable by road from Haridwar, Rishikesh, Kotdwar, and Dehradun.
Trekking Routes: Yamunotri and Kedarnath require treks. Kedarnath has the lengthiest trek. However, it’s now possible to cover all the temples in two days by helicopter.
Safety Measures: Pilgrims must undergo a medical checkup for those trekking to Kedarnath. Biometric registration is mandatory for all pilgrims going on the Char Dham Yatra.
