Char Dham: The term “Char Dham” translates to “four abodes.” It refers to a tour of four holy sites nestled high up in the Himalayas. These sites are; Yamunotri: The temple dedicated to Goddess Yamuna is located close to the source of River Yamuna in Uttarkashi district. River Yamuna is the second-most sacred Indian river after River Ganga. Gangotri: This temple is dedicated to Goddess Ganga, the most sacred of all Indian rivers. It is situated in the Rudraprayag district. Kedarnath: Located in the Rudraprayag district, this shrine is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Badrinath: Home to the sacred Badrinarayan Temple, Badrinath is dedicated to Lord Vishnu.
Spiritual Significance: Hindus consider visiting the Char Dham to be very auspicious. Not only is it believed to wash away all sins, but it also ensures release from the cycle of birth and death.
Opening and Closing Dates: The Char Dham temples are open only at certain times of the year, from late April or early May to November. The peak pilgrimage period is in May and June. However, the monsoon season (July to September) can be dangerous due to slippery routes caused by rain.

Access and Safety
By Road: Badrinath and Gangotri are directly reachable by road from Haridwar, Rishikesh, Kotdwar, and Dehradun.
Trekking Routes: Yamunotri and Kedarnath require treks. Kedarnath has the lengthiest trek. However, it’s now possible to cover all the temples in two days by helicopter.
Safety Measures: Pilgrims must undergo a medical checkup for those trekking to Kedarnath. Biometric registration is mandatory for all pilgrims going on the Char Dham Yatra. Regular weather updates, telecommunication network coverage, mobile medical facilities, and control rooms are provided along the route.

After arrival at Yamunotri take bath in warm waters of Surya Kund (Hot Spring). Enjoy Darshan of "Yamunaji". Return trek to Jankichatti. Later drive towards Barkot. Overnight stay at Barkot.

Early morning after breakfast, drive to Gangotri. On the way visit Gangnani Hot Spring. Take a holy dip in Kund. Later drive to Gangotri via beautiful Harsil valley. By Helicopter: Morning our driver will transfer you to your Helipad location (Phata, Guptkashi, Sirsi etc) as per helicopter ticket time. Kindly inform the driver timings of helicopter mentioned on the ticket previous day. Different aviation has different location for their helicopter service. Our driver will provide you both pick and drop to hotel to Helipad. At arrival in Kedarnath reach Kedarnath Temple. Visit Kedarnath Temple. After darshan return to the helipad. Take return flight. Our driver will pick up you from helipad and take you to your hotel.
By Trek: To reach Kedarnath by trekking route first you have to reach Gaurikund. We will drive to Sonprayag early in the morning after breakfast. Our car will drop to Sonprayag. From Sonprayag 5 kms drive to Gaurikund local jeep is available. This sharing basis jeeps guests can book directly at own cost. Gaurikund to Kedarnath is further 14 Kms trek. Due to long trek guests needs to start very early in the morning. Get packed breakfast from hotel to start early. Horse / Pony / Palakhi is also available for trekking at Gaurikund. Guests can book that at own cost. Visit Kedarnath Temple. Later trek down to Gaurikund. Take jeep to Sonprayag at own cost. Our driver will pick up you from Sonprayag and take you to your hotel. During Winters from late November to April, the Char Dham shrines are usually inaccessible due to heavy snowfall, and the temples are closed for the season.
