Upon arriving at Lucknow railway station, our tour representative will escort you to your pre-booked hotel. Check-in, take a break to freshen up and then get ready for the first-day sightseeing trip which includes Bara Imambara, Chota Imambara, Ambedkar Park, Janeshwar Mishra Park, Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Park. First of all we visit, the Bara Imambara. It is massive shrine built in the year 1784 by Nawab Asaf-Ud-Daula. The Bara imambara shrine complex houses the Asfi mosque, the Nawab’s tomb and the Bhool Bhulaiya. The next place we visit today is the Chota Imambara.

It is another shrine complex that came into being in the year 1838 under the initiative of Nawab Muhammad Shah Ali. The chota imambara houses the tomb of Nawab and that of the Nawab’s mother and also has an incomplete watch tower known by the name of Satkhanda. Next we visit the Ambedkar Park, a beautiful architectural monument named after Dr. BR Ambedkar. This red sandstone made monument is located in the midst of an area extending to nearly 107 acres. It is a scenic park with beautiful landscaped gardens.

This Public Park and memorial came into existence in the year 2008. Next we visit another urban park in Lucknow Gomti Nagar; the Janeshwar Mishra Park named after Janeshwar Mishra Sharif Bhai, the late politician. It is an Eco park with a multi-functional environment and houses the largest garden in the whole of Asia. Next we visit the last of our sightseeing destinations for the day; the Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Park.

This park spreading to an area of about 76 acres has been named after Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia; the well-known socialist. This park tool is located in Lucknow Gomti Nagar. This park came into being in the year 2007 and is administered by the Lucknow Development Authority. Flower nurseries, jogging tracks, seating benches, courtyards, artificial mounds etc are some of the features at the park. After finishing off with the day’s sightseeing, we will move towards hotel, have dinner and then go for a sound sleep.

Next day, early morning after breakfast we will set out for the second day Lucknow sightseeing trip and we will visit places like Dilkusha Kothi, Lucknow zoo. First, we visit the Dilkusha Kothi. It is an old house dating back to the 18th century and now in a dilapidated condition. Once upon a time, a hunting lodge Dilkusha Kothi later became a summer dwelling place of the royals. This Kothi exhibits the British Baroque architectural style and was erected by the Britisher Major; Major Gore. Next we visit the Lucknow Zoo.

This unique zoo spreads across an area of about 71.6 acres. The Zoo came into being in the year 1921 and is also differently referred to as The Prince of Wales Zoological Park. The zoo is known enough for breeding as well as offering shelter to many rare animal species such as Hog deer, Indian wolf and white tiger. After spending few hours at the Zoo, we return to hotel for lunch and rest. Later in the evening we set out on our shopping spree visiting the famous Aminabad Market of Lucknow.

This is Lucknow’s oldest market and dates back to the Nawabi eras. You can get the best bargain for your desired goods in this market that sells almost anything ranging from garments to garments to handicrafts, books to food, jewelry to footwear and many more. If you are in a mind to buy Chikan embroidered clothing, you can get a variety of such clothing in the market and at best prices. Post-shopping at Aminabad Market, we return to hotel for dinner and night stay.

Next day after breakfast, we will check-out of the hotel and then move for the remaining sightseeing destinations the Gautam Buddha Park. This park is located in the midst of Bada Imambara & Martyr’s Memorial. The park came into being in the year 1980. It has been founded to pay a tribute to the great God incarnate & ascetic Gautam Buddha. The park has a lush green ambiance, landscaped gardens and many exciting rides and paddle boating facilities. After spending some time at the Gautam Buddha Park, our tour representative will drop you at Lucknow Railway Station from where you will proceed to your further journey back home with a plenty of beautiful memories of the trip.
