Upon your arrival at Kathmandu Airport, our team representative will give you a warm welcome and then escort you to the pre-booked hotel. Post-check-in relax at the hotel for some time. Later on, in the evening, you will set out free to walk around the beautiful city of Nepal. Enjoy the nightlife, sounds and the mesmerizing aroma of the city. Return back to the hotel and then overnight stay.

Post breakfast, we will set out to hit the sightseeing destinations of the capital city of Nepal. The first sightseeing destination of the day is Durbar Square (Hanuman Dhoka) which is declared as a world heritage site by UNESCO. It is a complex of palaces which was built between the 12th and 18th century. It houses numerous courtyards and temples which showcases the diverse culture and religion. Taleju Temple, Coronation Nasal Chowk, Nautale Darbar, Kal Bhairav, the big bell, the big drum, the statue of King Pratap Malla, the Jagannath Temple, and three museums which includes Tribhuvan Museum and Numismatic Museum. Later on, we will proceed towards the other destination of the day, Swayambhunath Stupa which is counted among the most glorious Buddhist sites in the world. On the spires of the Stupa, there are eyes painted on the walls which seems as all-watching.

It’s time to hit the last tourist destination of the day, Patan which is also called as Lalitpur which in Sanskrit literally means “City of Beauty”. Durbar Square is the prime tourist destination of the city. This beautiful city of Nepal also houses numerous ancient temples and palaces which are popular for their intricate carvings. Some of the other major landmarks of the city are the 17th century old Krishna Mandir, Tibetan Refugee Camp, and the Patan museum which is specialized for its religious objects and bronze statues. You can take out some time for shopping here to collect some beautiful memories of the trip. In the evening return to the hotel and then overnight stay.

Day 3 :
Kathmandu

Post a hearty breakfast, we will set out to explore the sightseeing destinations of the third day of the trip. The day will start with the visit at the sacred Pashupatinath Temple which is nestled on the banks of the River Bagmati. This ancient temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It’s silver doors and two-tiered golden roofs are quite notable to the tourists. The temple is heavily crowded with devotees on the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivratri.

Our next visit will be at Boudhanath which is reckoned as the largest Stupas in South Asia and whose surrounding area is called the “Little Tibet” of Nepal.

The last stopover of the day is Bhaktapur Durbar Square which is known for its stunning architectural showpiece where you can experience a well-orchestrated symphony. The other top attractions of the city are The Golden Gate, The Art Gallery, The Palace of Fifty-five windows, The Lion Gate, and the statue of King Bhupatindra Malla. Later on, return to the hotel for the overnight stay.

We will leave for Tibet. Upon our arrival at Gonggar Airport at Lhasa, you will be escorted to the city whose history is approx. 1300 years old. You will be taken to the hotel from the airport and there will be no schedule for the day as the day is designed for acclimatization at the high altitudes. Visitors are recommended to stay hydrated by drinking enough amount of water and also to have a sound sleep to make yourself ready for the next day destination.

This day is specifically designed for Lhasa sightseeing destinations so firstly we will pay a visit to the popular Potala House. Due to its amazing architecture, it is called as the cardinal landmark. The architecture was built during the reign of King Songtsen Gampo in the 7th century. Potala Complex which is popular as the world’s largest and the highest castle built with wood and clay. Explore the preserved relics of Dalai Lama, prayer rooms, shrines, courtyards, and Monks dormitories.

Later on, we will proceed towards the 7th century old Jokhang Temple which is a three-storied temple. However, the temple got reconstructed during the reign of the fifth Dalai Lama. You can see the sacred idols of Jowo Shakyamuni around which pilgrims Circumambulate to seek the blessings.

Later on, we will visit old Lhasa and its oldest street Barkhor. It is believed to be the place where the art, culture, economy, and religion of Tibet cannot be missed out.

Post breakfast, check-out from the hotel and will drive towards Gyantse. On the way to Gyantse, we will stop at Dolma Lhakhang Temple. After driving for around an hour, we will arrive at the foothills of Kampala Pass. Yamdrok Lake can be viewed from this viewpoint. This beautiful scorpion shaped lake is frozen during the winter season.

Upon arrival at Gyantse, we will check-in at the hotel and then overnight stay at the hotel.

Post breakfast we will check-out from the hotel and then set out for Shigatse. On the route to Shigatse, we will visit two popular sightseeing destinations in the world Palcho Chode Monastery and Kumbum. Umbum which was found by the Gyantse prince in the year 1427 and the literal meaning of the temple is 10,000 images. The temple is designed as a dome structure which contains 77 chapels with its lining walls. It is believed that most of the statues have been replaced as they had been destroyed.

Pelkor Chode which was founded in 1418 and got famed as Pelkor Monastery is located in the same compound where the Kumbum is located. Later on, in the afternoon we will drive towards Shigatse which is the second largest Tibetan city and also reckoned as the traditional capital of Tibetan province. Check-in at the hotel and then afterward we will proceed to visit the Tashilhunpo Monastery which is very famous as it was built by the first Dalai Lama. Return to the hotel, have dinner and then overnight stay in Shigatse.

The day will start with a hearty breakfast after which you will be taken to Lhatse. On the route, we will stop at the Sakya Monastery which was founded in the year 1073 and is famous as the Sakyapa School. The monastery is believed to be the most surviving architecture and artwork in the country. After reaching Lhatse, check-in at the pre-booked hotel for the overnight stay.

We will hit the roads towards Dza Rongbuk after crossing the Pang La. En-route we will get the beautiful views of Cho Oyu, Lhotse, Makalu, and the imposing Mt. Everest. Upon your arrival at the destination, you will be set free to enjoy trek at the base camp of the Mt. Everest. After the trek, we will return to the pre-booked at Xegar and will stay there for overnight.

Today we will explore the Kyirong border where we will enjoy the beautiful views of the Tibetan and also the higher Himalayan Ranges. By evening, we will return to the hotel in Kyirong City for an overnight stay.

Today morning after breakfast we will check-out from the hotel and then will move towards the Rasuwagadhi border. After completing all the formalities at the China Emigration crossing we will move for our further destinations. We have arranged special Nepalese Tour guide who will assist you with proper guidance for the further journey of Kathmandu (approx. 6-7 hours journey). Return to the hotel, have a healthy dinner and then overnight stay.

Early morning after breakfast, you will do check-out from the hotel and will proceed towards Tribhuvan airport for boarding the flight to Bhutan. Enjoy the aerial scenic beauty of the Himalayan ranges throughout the flight journey. After reaching the Paro Valley, one can witness the awe-inspiring beauty of the silvery Paro River (known as Pa Chu), Ta Dzong which is a watchtower, and also the fortress Paro Dzong.

You will receive a warm welcome by our team representative at Paro who will assist you for the further journey and then will drive towards the capital city of Bhutan. En-route Thimphu we will stop at the famous ancient fortress Simtokha Dzong. In the evening we will explore the nightlife of National Memorial Chorten which is known as a landmark to showcase the peace and prosperity in the city. Visualize the beautiful paintings and explore the other attractions of the monument including nunnery at Zilukha, the national library, school of fine arts, and many more. Return to the hotel for the overnight stay.

Post breakfast we will drive towards the old winter capital, Punakha. The entire route seems like a Zig-Zag which makes your journey an enthralling one. If it is a clear day then you will be welcomed by the majestic views of the Gangnam Postum (the highest mountain).

Upon our arrival at the Punakha Valley, we will hike towards the monk’s temple named Chimi Lhakhang. If time allows, then you will be set free to visit the Punakha Dzong which is famous for its huge and beautiful courtyard. Later on, we will return to the hotel for the overnight stay.

After a hearty breakfast, we will move towards Paro via Thimpu. After the arrival, check-in at the hotel, rest for a while and then in the afternoon, we will set out for the city tour. Ta Dzong which is the national museum of Bhutan will be our first destination of the day where you can explore some really amazing fine arts, ancient postage stamps, etc. Our next visit will be the hillside trail to Rinpung Dzong and also the Nemi Zam which is a traditional bridge.

Day 15 :
Paro

Our first destination of the day will be Taktsang Palphug Monastery. It is believed that Guru Rinpoche came to this monastery on the back of a tigress and so the place is also called as Tiger’s Nest. Our next destination will be the oldest temple of Bhutan Kyichu Lhakhang which was built by Songtsen Gampo, a Tibetan Ruler in the 7th century.

This is the last day of your trip and your day will start with breakfast. Post breakfast check-out at the hotel and then will move towards the Paro Airport to catch the return flight to Kathmandu. Our team representative bids you adieu and your journey ends with us.
