Senior Citizens, Pregnant Woman, Diabetic, BP, cervical, knee problem, heart issue patients will not be allowed for rafting. Avoid rafting if you have any kind of fracture, injury or any other medical complications. Do consult your doctor if you are fit for rafting.
Important Disclaimer: Sometimes, due to rainfall in higher Himalayas, the level of river may rise overnight. Considering the safety, it might effect rescheduling of rafting time, Changing the rafting stretch to lower grade (difference will be refunded) or shift the rafting to next day. Visitors are requested to do Rafting early in the morning at around 7 or 8 am to avoid the huge Jam in Tapovan to Shivpuri Road.
Near Monsoon season, only 9 kms (from Brahmpuri) of Rafting would be provided. Whichever would be permissible by Govt after seeing the Ganga water level
Anybody found to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, medically or physically unfit (any serious ailment, weak heart conditions, epilepsy, asthma, expecting mothers etc) unfit for any reason/s in the wisdom of the river, guide/instructor will not be allowed the rafting trip or undertake any other adventure activities. Request for a refund or a discount in such circumstance/s will not be entertained. Decision of the river guide / management in this regard would be final
Bulky clothes, saree, necktie, long skirts, suits are not permitted. Shorts, T-shirt preferably of synthetic material, floaters / sandals, sunglasses with strings are recommended

Due to powerful waves and higher level of difficulty in the passage, Marine Drive rafting stretch is categorized under Grade III. The path needs little maneuvering from the professional rafting guides, so book your rafting trip wisely.
Marine Drive rafting point is generally meant for adventurers or physically fit person and requires serious guidance, attention and direction of experts or professional guides. Families or children should avoid river rafting at this point due to high waves and difficult passage. The cost for Marine Drive Rafting is around Rs 1500 per person.
